IPMA Demographics

The IPMA promotes the development, professional standing, and visibility of paralegal management professionals. It is the only educational and networking association specific to those who manage paralegals. The association has a member retention rate high above general association standards with an excellent record of membership growth.

The IPMA has a membership of some 500 managers who are primarily located in metropolitan areas of the United States and Canada with members also in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. IPMA members develop and manage paralegal programs within their organizations. Many are full time paralegal directors, managers or coordinators; some are working managers or case managers, some are human resource professionals who manage paralegals, and others handle a broad range of administrative responsibilities related to paralegals and other legal support personnel. All IPMA members are vital to the continued growth and development of the paralegal function within their organizations.
